Craft from white seeds. Master class on making crafts from natural material “Stork. Paintings and applications

Painstakingly tinkering, creating a unique craft, is loved by many, regardless of age. In particular, such a process fascinates children, because here you can create, creating real masterpieces of art from an ordinary sheet of paper, a piece of cloth, plasticine or other improvised means. Let's take a closer look at how to keep a child occupied, and what kind of crafts from seeds you can do yourself.

Useful creative activity

Interacting with small objects will have a beneficial effect on the development of fine motor skills, so some types of seeds are great for working together with a small child. Let's analyze the most interesting ideas and methods of making them.

To start, work with young children should be done with small pictures, and then take on more complex options. More complex applications are suitable for schoolchildren or preschoolers.

The creation of similar works requires considerable perseverance and dedication, and the beautiful works received at the end of the work justify all the effort expended.

Necessary material for work

The list of required materials may vary slightly depending on the method of fastening the seeds themselves or on the type of future work.

The simplest mounting option is pressing into plasticine, even kids can handle it, but under the supervision of adults. The photo of handicrafts made from seeds shows that they can be both flat and voluminous.

Basic set of materials:

  • seeds;
  • glue;
  • paints (acrylic, food coloring, gouache);
  • colored or white cardboard;
  • colour pencils;
  • soft plasticine.

You can create such masterpieces with children not only in the summer, when the watermelon season comes, but also at any other time, if you first take care of harvesting seeds.

Seed preparation

Not many people know exactly what types of seeds can be used to make crafts with children. The most common materials are sunflower, watermelon and pumpkin seeds. There are several stages in preparing different types of seeds.

The process of harvesting watermelon and sunflower seeds is the simplest option. We collect the seeds, then rinse them well, and then lay them out on a napkin or waffle towel and dry them thoroughly in the sun. When the seeds are dry, they can be placed in a special container, which should close tightly and protect them from moisture.

Preparation of pumpkin seeds takes significantly longer. We also start by collecting seeds, then they must be rinsed and dried thoroughly.

If white seeds are needed for the application, then at this stage the harvesting process can be considered finished and the seeds can be placed in a jar.

And if colored seeds are needed, then a procedure for staining them should be carried out, this can be done in two ways. Paint application with a brush. This dyeing option will be convenient when a small amount of seeds is required for work, otherwise it will be a rather tedious process.

For mass coloring of seeds, you can use a simpler method. Paint should be placed in a plastic bag on the basis that all the seeds should be immersed in it, fill the seeds there and mix them thoroughly with a dye (gouache, acrylic, food coloring).

To get brighter and more saturated colors, you should leave the seeds in the paint for 10-15 minutes. After the end of the procedure, they must be placed on an oilcloth and re-dried in the sun.

After thoroughly drying, they can be placed in an airtight container for storage or used in work for crafts with detailed instructions.

Craft ideas

There are a huge variety of ideas for creating crafts and applications from seeds. Let's take a look at the most common ideas for collaborating with young children. More detailed manufacturing steps will be discussed in a master class on crafts from seeds.

Autumn motives

Pretty simple idea for working with pumpkin seeds. On a sheet of white cardboard, you need to draw a tree trunk with branches and, together with the child, arrange leaf-seeds on them in a chaotic manner.

Seeds of several colors can be used: yellow, orange or green. Fallen leaves can be marked under the tree. The foliage should be fixed with glue.

Bright cockerel

Lay out the base of the cock on a sheet of cardboard using plasticine. The bright colors of the seeds are useful as feathers. They must be carefully inserted into the finished base. If the seeds do not hold well, add some glue.

Flowers

To complete the flowers, you will need skewers, this will be the stem, and on top of them you need to mark a ball of plasticine, this is the middle of the flower. The seeds will be petals, here you can use several types of seeds and collect various flower arrangements.

Preparing for the New Year

On the eve of the New Year holidays, you can make an artificial little Christmas tree and real Christmas tree decorations.

For the Christmas tree, you need a plastic tube from the handle. You need to stick it around with plasticine in a circle, and then stick seeds on the plasticine as needles.

To create a ball, you need a foam base. With the help of glue, it is necessary to place seeds on it, like scales.

Do not forget about the cord so that you can hang the finished decorative ball on the Christmas tree. After it is all covered with scales, it will be necessary to paint over the scales, if already painted seeds have not been used.

Applications

When creating an applique, your own imagination is the most faithful assistant. There are a lot of ideas, if you could not come up with yourself.

Seeds can be combined with cereals, legumes, beads and even small cones to decorate photo frames or various stands.

Numerous examples of works and ideas that can be implemented by both adults and children. Finished works will be able to become not only a decoration of the house, but also take prizes at exhibitions in a kindergarten or school. Therefore, you should not waste time on empty thoughts, but rather get to work and start working a miracle!

Photo of crafts from seeds

Crafts made from natural materials are perhaps the most favorite type of creativity for children of any age. Working with natural materials keeps the warmth of the hands and the master and always carries with it positive energy. Very beautiful crafts can be made from seashells, acorns, chestnuts, dried leaves, etc. But the most original, and at the same time, easy-to-make work, are obtained from ordinary pumpkin seeds.

Pumpkin seeds are an easily available natural material that can be worked with at any time of the year. From pumpkin seeds, you can make a variety of original crafts, such as a flower bouquet. I bring to your attention a master class on making flowers from pumpkin seeds. These flowers are very beautiful and original, and most importantly, they are easy to manufacture and do not require large physical and financial costs.

For work we need:

1. Pumpkin seeds;
2. Peas;
3. Silicone glue;
4. PVA glue;
5. Floristic tape;
6. Burlap;
7. Wooden sticks;
8. Cardboard sheet;
9. Jute thread;
10. Compasses;
11. Simple pencil;
12. Scissors;
13. White acrylic paint;
14. Brush;
15. Ruler.

Before starting work, it is necessary to process the burlap so that it becomes tough and does not crumble. To do this, mix PVA glue and water in a ratio of 50 to 50 and completely place burlap in this solution. Then the fabric must be dried and ironed.

While the burlap is drying, let's make the flowers directly. The basis for the flowers will be a cardboard circle. Using a compass, draw a circle with a diameter of 6 cm on cardboard and cut it out.

Now we take pumpkin seeds and, using silicone glue or Moment glue, glue them in a circle. We glue the seeds so that their sharp edge is on top.

The first row of seeds is ready.

Now we glue the seeds of the second row in the same way.

The seeds in the second row should be staggered and overlapped with respect to the first row. We also make the third and fourth rows of seeds.

Leave the middle of the flower not glued.

Now we turn our flower over to the back side and glue one row of seeds to this side.

Since our bunch will consist of three flowers, we make three blanks for flowers.

The pumpkin seeds that we used for the flower petals do not have a very beautiful yellowish tint, so we used white acrylic paint to paint them white.

We leave the flowers alone until they are completely dry.

While the paint is drying, we do not waste time, and we will prepare two parts from cardboard: a circle with a diameter of 6 cm, and a petal, the height of which is 7 cm, and the width is 4 cm.

We put cardboard blanks on a dried and ironed sacking and circle them along the contours.

Circles will need to be cut 3 pieces,

and the petals - 6 pieces.

Next, glue the burlap circle on the back of the flower blank.

And along the contour of the cut out burlap petals, we glue a jute thread.

Now it's time to prepare the flower stems. For the stem, you can use even tree branches, but we used sushi chopsticks. We take a green floral ribbon and completely wrap each stick with it.

If you don't have floral tape, you can use crepe paper. We make three identical stems.

Now we collect our flowers. We make a hole in the middle of the flower blank

and insert the finished stem into it.

In the middle of the flower we glue yellow peas, which, for strength, we pour abundantly on top with PVA glue.

You can also use dried corn kernels, buckwheat or peppercorns instead of peas.

And finally, it remains to attach the petals to our flowers. We fasten them with floral tape or corrugated paper.

That's all - the flowers are ready! It remains to put our bouquet in a vase. Such an original bouquet will decorate any place, and especially a natural corner at school or in kindergarten. Good luck and creative success!

Natalia Vladimirovna Zhulina

At the end of summer, it has become a tradition in our kindergarten to hold an exhibition at the end of summer crafts from natural material... In this I decided to make a picture of different seeds, groats and branches.

Equipment and material:

1. White sheet of paper.

2. Background paper.

4. Acrylic varnish, brush.

5. A simple pencil.

6. Scissors.

7. Seeds of pumpkin, sunflower.

8. Buckwheat, rice groats.

9. Branches, straw, moss.

10. Red, black gouache.

11. Pistachio shell.

Draw a bird pattern on a white sheet.

Cut out.

Take the background sheet and draw the outline of the bird using the template.

We apply glue to the image, and we begin to lay out the head and body of the bird from pumpkin seeds.

We make a bird's wing from sunflower seeds.

Buckwheat legs.

We make a beak from rice cereal and paint it with red gouache, we make an eye from a pistachio shell, paint it with black gouache, and for an expressive look we apply a drop of white gouache.

From twigs, straw and moss making a nest, we wait when everything dries up, sticks,

then we cover everything with varnish, wait for it to dry, insert it into the frame.

The picture is ready.

The stork lived with us the summer,

And now he is visiting somewhere.

For this work I got first place and was awarded a diploma.

Autumn gives a lot of natural materials for adult and children's creativity - chestnuts, acorns. Pine trees are especially popular.

Dear Colleagues! Your attention is invited to a master - class on making play material for children of primary preschool age.

Today, children rarely walk on the ground. To prevent the development of flat feet, the surface on which we walk barefoot must be uneven.

In addition to building material, paper, waste material is also used for construction in kindergarten. When teaching children to design.

You often come across the question "what can be done with a child in the nursery group so that you can show it to the competition?" Colleagues, a lot.

Crafts from acorns are a simple and fascinating type of creativity and represent a rich field for imagination. Acorns are easy to paint.

DIY crafts from grains, cereals and various seeds are a great way to keep children busy, because working with such natural material perfectly trains fine motor skills of the hands, which helps to improve general and speech development. Also, such classes help to educate children in patience, diligence and perseverance.

Features of creativity using natural materials

Crafts from cereals with their own hands can be made not only by schoolchildren, because such joint creativity is suitable even for small children. True, with the kids you will need to be inseparable so that they do not harm themselves in any way.

So, as a material you may find useful:

  • all kinds of cereals and grains - buckwheat, rice, millet, semolina;
  • legumes - peas, lentils, and colored beans
  • any seeds and seeds - watermelon, pumpkin, melon and sunflower, etc.

You can even take. Also in the process of work you will need: thick paper or cardboard, glue, scissors, fabric, plasticine, templates of various patterns, ornaments (as you wish).

The best DIY crafts made from cereals, seeds and seeds are applications and pictures. You can come up with stories with your child yourself, or you can use some ready-made templates and transfer them to paper. The complexity of the work should depend on the age of the children, keep in mind that it should be interesting for the kid to do the craft on his own, albeit with your help, but not be completely on the sidelines.

We create applications and pictures with our own hands

The topic of work can be anything you like. But handicrafts made from grains and other natural materials on the theme of spring are very beautiful and original. Spring landscapes (crafts from watermelon seeds and cereals), lush flowers (flowers from pumpkin seeds are especially good - asters, sunflowers, snowdrops) are great ideas for children's creativity.

The more you use various cereals, seeds and seeds, the better, because they all not only differ in size and shape, but also in color and texture. That is, you will have a huge space for imagination and creativity. And if your grain craft needs some special colors, then you can always paint your materials using watercolors or gouache.

Try starting with a simple applique. For example, you can make a basket of flowers as a craft from pumpkin seeds.

  1. Draw the outlines of the basket on a piece of heavy paper or cardboard and cover them with glue.
  2. Next, spread pumpkin seeds along these contours to make a voluminous basket from them.
  3. Draw flowers inside in the same way - it can be sunflowers, asters, poppies, daisies, snowdrops or any others. Use seeds of various sizes to create them - pumpkin, watermelon, sunflower seeds.
  4. The middle of the flowers can be made from beads or covered with small grains.
  5. Color your bouquet and paint the basket brown. You can decorate the applique with glitter or stickers, add some plasticine details.

It's easy to make a vase of flowers on the theme of spring, just like a basket. To keep children's crafts from seeds for a long time and not crumble, you can sprinkle them with hairspray or cover them with transparent nail polish.

A favorite pastime for children will be the creation of applications and paintings depicting various animals, birds or fish. Together with your child, come up with a plot and embody a fairy tale with the help of crafts from pumpkin or watermelon seeds, as well as other all kinds of materials.

Fishes, hedgehogs, bees, snails, ducks, cats and other animals are incredibly cute. See how easy it is to make a picture with a hedgehog as a craft from seeds.

  1. Print your hedgehog design or draw your own.
  2. Apply a good layer of glue on its back and begin gradually attaching seeds to it (this could be watermelon seeds or sunflower seeds).
  3. You need to glue the seeds so that they are all directed with sharp tips in one direction.
  4. The rest of the hedgehog's body can be simply painted, and mushrooms or fruits made from plasticine can be attached to the thorns.

But what an interesting picture you can create with a peacock using watermelon seeds, as well as semolina and corn grits.

  1. We draw a peacock on thick paper or print a ready-made template (even ordinary coloring will do).
  2. Glue the round ends of the feathers with glue and cover them with corn grits. Do the same with the bird's legs.
  3. When it dries a little, shake off the remnants from the sheet.
  4. Decorate the feathers with watermelon seeds, gluing each one tightly.
  5. After a while, cover with glue the entire remaining image of the peacock, except for the head, and cover it with semolina, while clearing the contours with a toothpick.
  6. The head can be painted, and the picture can be decorated at your discretion. As you can see, crafts made from watermelon seeds are very simple.

More ideas for crafts from natural materials

A picture can be not only an image of something, but also be just a panel made of cereals, seeds and other natural materials.

Such a panel is best done on fabric (as a rule, burlap or other natural fabric is used), but you can also take paper. Divide your space into different sectors - it can be geometric shapes or abstraction, and then fill them with different grains and seeds (choose material of different colors, textures and shapes, combine them and try to combine them correctly).

To separate the sectors, take a jute twine - then your natural panel will turn out to be more organic. Usually such paintings are not painted, but you can fix them with varnish.

With older children, you can try creating three-dimensional figures or toys, like crafts from seeds and cereals. Then the material will need to be attached to the frame of your product, for example, you can make a house for some fairytale hero, a candlestick shape or decorate a photo frame.

Crafts from seeds with your own hands is an idea of \u200b\u200bwonderful joint creativity with children, which will bring benefits and good mood for your whole family.
