Such a doll-box will become a dream come true for any female person. It is not difficult to make such a box, but you will have to sit. There are a lot of master classes of such boxes on the Internet, and they are almost all similar. It's just that each master offers his own way, and I will show you how I do it.

So, let's begin.

You can hardly do without going to the store, so you will need to purchase:

A) bowls, cups, bread bins and the like - 2 pcs. (size at your discretion).

B) fabric - about 1m "+ -", thick silk, crepe satin, crepe satin, satin, etc. will do.

C) thin foam rubber or synthetic winterizer or batting or something like that.

I use a glue gun, it is very quick and convenient to work with, it is more difficult to make such a box with other glue, I have to sew more.

First, let's cut out the details.

We take our cup and cut out 2 bottoms from the foam rubber - inner and outer (do not forget that we have two cups, which means all the parts are two).

Then 2 strips of foam rubber, one will go to pasting the inner wall of the cup, the other to the outer one. I measure simply - I apply and cut, if necessary I cut off the excess. Afraid to miss - take a ruler or centimeter.

Now we cut out two bottoms (inner) and two strips of fabric from the fabric, equal to the inner strips of foam rubber, BUT do not forget about the allowances on all sides of 1.5-2 cm.

Next, we need two more details. Cut off two squares of fabric. How to measure it correctly - take our cup and put it on the fabric, you need to cut off enough so that the fabric fits the cup on all sides, look at the photo.

We start sewing, if you don't have a typewriter, it's not scary, you can use it on your hands, but it will be a little longer. I know that there are masters who just glue everything together, I have not tried it and I cannot say for the quality.

We take a circle of foam rubber and fabric and sew them together, as you wish, you can just along the edge, or you can like me.

Then we take a strip of fabric and sew it.

This is how it should turn out (two details).

Now we need to glue our cup on all sides with foam rubber (or other material that you have chosen). First, I glue the outer bottom, and then I glue the walls of the cup.

We take our piece of fabric and glue it to the bottom of the cup.

Then we place our bowl in the center of the square and begin to glue the fabric to the edges of the bowl, draping the fabric.

You can first glue the fabric outside, and then inside, it will be easier for beginners.

Here's what you should get.

Prepared one detail. This will be the bottom of the box.

We take the doll and cut it just below the waist.

Then cut the strips to the waist.

We coat these strips with glue and glue our doll to the center of the bowl. I used to do it differently, glued the doll to the finished bowl, pasted over with foam rubber and cloth, but later the doll began to wobble. Therefore, I do this.

Glue foam rubber on top.

We glue the bowl on all sides with foam rubber, as with the first cup.

I make a hole in the center of the fabric square and dress it as shown in the photo.

Our parts are ready, we put them together. I am sewing. Some masters glue, some braid, some with wire, perhaps you can come up with your own method of bonding.

We close the joints with any braid, you can weave pigtail - bauble, and use instead of braid.

The most pleasant begins, this is the decoration of our doll. Everything is possible! Sew her a dress and put it on top, come up with a suit, etc. I'll show you the easiest way.

What do you need?

For work, you will need the following materials: a doll, a container for the future casket, a little padding polyester or foam rubber, fabric, beads, lace and ribbons for decor, sewing accessories and a hot glue gun. Any plastic jar with a lid or bottle is suitable as the base of the box. The splendor of the doll's outfit will depend on the diameter of the container. Therefore, to create a royal dress, it is necessary to select a container of sufficient size. For such a box, an ice cream bucket and a two-liter plastic water or drink bottle may well be suitable.

Preparatory work

Before proceeding directly to work on the box, you need to do some preparatory work: the lower part of the body is cut off from the doll slightly below the waist line; the height of the bottle or bucket is adjusted so that they match the length of the legs, and the future product looks proportional. Next, the part is cut into two parts. If you take a plastic bottle for work, then it will be most convenient to work with the neck and bottom. Therefore, measure it from above and below, and throw out the middle. So, when the materials for the base are prepared, they start assembling and decorating, as a result of which the original doll-box comes out. MK will be very appropriate here.

Decorating the bottom of the box

DIY doll-boxes are made quite simply, and, perhaps, the stage of decorating the lower part will be the most difficult, because the rest can only be dealt with with glue. Here you will also need sewing accessories, fabric, foam rubber or synthetic winterizer. First, the inside of the upholstery is sewn. To do this, draw the bottom of the base on the fabric, make allowances for the seams and cut out, duplicate the bottom of the fabric with a soft filler and sew it with beautiful stitches. Next, measure the height of the plastic base and the resulting circle around the perimeter, cut out a strip of fabric, lay a side seam and sew the finished bottom into this part. After all these manipulations, the sewn inner upholstery is placed inside the plastic base, the bottom of which is pre-coated with glue. Next, a circle of foam rubber is glued to the bottom from the outside to hide the ribbed surface. In this form, the base is placed on top of a previously cut out circle of fabric, laying folds, and closing the outer sides of the bottle. At the junction, the inner and outer upholstery is tucked, stitched and masked, imposed on a beautiful braid. At this stage, you must remember to insert a piece of silicone tape into the seam, which will connect the upper and lower parts of the doll-box. It is easy to make other fasteners with your own hands, for example, on a chain, which will add charm to the craft.

Connecting the base of the box

The main goal here is to secure the part of the bottle around the doll's waist. For this, the neck of the bottle is cut off so that the body fits snugly into the hole. If a bucket is used in the work, then the doll is glued to its lid with hot glue. Decorate the top of the bottle or lid according to the same principle as the bottom base, inserting the second end of a silicone tape into the seam. Only the fabric of the outer upholstery in this case is not cut out in the shape of a circle, but simply in a strip and fixed at the waist. Decorating the doll-box

With your own hands, you can make a lot of interesting outfits for such a lady with a secret. It can be an airy lace dress with a huge amount of frills or an almost royal velvet robe with gold trim. One of the simpler options is a dress with frills in ribbons or lace. To create it, the finishing material is collected with a needle in folds and glued to the upholstery of the box. Here it is very important to calculate the distance between the rows of frills so that the upper tier of the lower part of the box goes under the very top, and subsequent frills fill the entire dress up to the doll's waist. The bodice of the dress is formed from a satin ribbon at the point where it joins the frill; this seam is masked with sequin braid, satin ribbon or small flowers.

To create a harmonious look, it is imperative to complement the doll's outfit with accessories such as an umbrella, hat and gloves. It is not difficult to make these elements. For an umbrella, you need a juice tube, which is pasted over with tape, a circle of fabric and a strip of lace, which are collected with a needle and thread on a tube in the form of a closed umbrella. Gloves are made from pieces of lace that are glued to the doll's hands. To make a hat, the ribbon is collected with a needle in the form of a tutu skirt, and a large rose is glued on top. It is these details that make the image complete and harmonious.

Preparatory work

First, we only need the doll's upper body. Therefore, we get rid of her legs. But you need to cut it off slightly below the waistline, otherwise the fluffy skirt will look disproportionate.

There are two options for attaching parts. The craftswoman chooses for herself the one that is familiar and convenient to her: either a needle with thread or hot melt glue. It doesn't matter.

We make a doll-box with our own hands quickly and easily

Required materials and tools:

Upper torso of a barbie doll
Plastic bottle. The size of the bottle you take depends on the estimated size of the box
Satin ribbons in different widths (for example, 1 cm and 3 cm)
Lace 3cm wide
Chiffon trim to wrap around the bottle
Cotton pads or circles of foam rubber (thin)
Thermal gun
Stationery knife

First cut off the neck of the bottle with a clerical knife, then the upper and lower parts so that we get a box with a lid.

We insert the body of the pupa into the hole of the future lid and glue it with a thermal gun. It is necessary to ensure that the body is the same size as the hole and fits snugly.

The box needs a lining. To get it, you need to put cotton pads on the chiffon, circle with a pencil and cut the resulting pieces out of the fabric. We sew chiffon circles to cotton pads, you can manually, you can use a sewing machine. On a typewriter, you can quilt a disc, it will turn out very nice.

A strip of chiffon must be gathered with a thread and sewn to the disc.

Using a heat gun, glue the cover to the bottom of the bottle, bend the chiffon edges and glue them along the girth of the entire part of the box. We do the same for the second part.

With a piece of organza, we fix the parts of the box with each other with a heat gun, glue.

To get a beautiful frill using the kazanshi technique, you need to sew a satin and lace ribbon together and pin them. Glue the resulting ribbon to the very bottom of the box. Now we glue the same tape over the first one.

To make the edge of the box look neat, you need to close it with a gun with a tape to match the color.

We glue a small piece of satin ribbon to the doll's chest - a tight bodice.

We decorate the dress with a lace ribbon that covers the doll's shoulders.

Between the bodice and the skirt there is another strip of lace with a ribbon to hide the flaws. We make a belt from braid.

We make a circle of lace. We attach a satin ribbon to it and collect. These are the brims of the hat.

From the collected ribbon we make the top of the hat. We attach to the fields and decorate with a bow.

Dolls caskets. Basic manufacturing principles

The dolls of the box are made mainly in the kanzashi style, which involves the use of satin ribbons, lace, chiffon, velvet and many other decorative elements: beads, rhinestones, beautiful buttons.

The principle of making such boxes is that two halves of any containers that can be folded into a box are taken, covered with any material you like, and then connected with a strip of the same fabric. On the top lid, the future skirt, a doll without legs is attached and decorated at your discretion. The lower container is performed as a continuation of the upper part, so that the box looks like a solid doll.

Dolls can be worn by ladies of different eras, national costumes or wedding dresses. The latter will be an excellent gift for the bride for a wedding celebration. Each craftsman constructs intricate hairstyles or graceful hats for his doll, which, by the way, can hide some of the defects of a broken toy. There are many options for decorating dolls in caskets: it all depends on the fantasy of the master.

Doll box in a hat

A master class on creating a kanzashi box in the form of a doll does not contain super-complex elements. All parts can be fastened with hot glue or with a regular needle and thread. Each novice master can choose the option that suits him.

So, in order to make an elegant doll a kanzashi-style box, you need to prepare the following in advance:

an old barbie doll without legs;
a plastic bottle (you can take a 0.5, 1.5 or 2 liter bottle, depending on the diameter of the box);
satin ribbons 1 cm and 3 cm wide, lace also 3 cm wide, pieces of chiffon slightly longer than the circumference of the bottle, 2 cotton pads or circles of thin foam rubber;
thermo gun with glue, stationery knife.

1. Using a stationery knife, cut off the neck of the plastic bottle, then the upper and lower parts of it to fit the future kanzashi box. We got two caps.

2. Insert the broken Barbie without legs into the hole of the top cover and glue it with a heat gun. If the volume of the doll is less than the hole, then in order for it to hold firmly, add pieces of plastic, synthetic winterizer or foam rubber to the gap.

3. We make the inner lining of the box. To do this, place cotton pads on the chiffon. Circle with a pencil and cut out a circle of chiffon along the contour. Place a chiffon circle over a cotton pad and quilt with a sewing machine or with your own hands. Do the same with the second disc.

4. Gather the chiffon strip with thread and sew to the quilted disc.

5. Glue the resulting cover to the bottom of the bottle with a heat gun, bend the edges of the chiffon and also glue them around the entire circumference of the cup. The top of the bottle will need to be done in the same way.

6. Bend a small strip of chiffon of the same color in half from the wrong side, sew the edge, turn it out and glue it to the top and bottom of the box.

7. Now all that remains is to decorate our box in the kanzashi style. To get beautiful ruffles on the dress, sew a satin ribbon with lace, pull on one of the threads and assemble. Glue the frill to the very bottom of the box. Make the same frill and glue it over the first one. To make the edge of the bottom of the doll of the box look neat, close it with a beautiful tape with a glue gun.

8. Fill the top of the box in the same way with frills.

9. Form the bodice of the dress from a piece of satin ribbon glued to the breast of the doll. Cut off a small strip of lace, put it on the shoulders of the Barbie and attach it with glue.

10. Sew another small frill and attach it to the doll's waist, thereby covering the junction of the bodice and top cap. Emphasize the waist of the doll with braid.

11. In order to make the brim of the hat, sew a ribbon with lace, gather and pull together with a thread in a circle. Make the upper part of the hat from a satin ribbon, stitching it in the middle and pulling the thread. Glue the top piece to the brim of the hat. Decorate the finished hat with a bow and put it on the doll.
