A great card for a dad who is fond of football. It is a green football field and a ball that moves forward when the card is opened.

Materials used:

• Double-sided light green cardboard;
• Double-sided dark green cardboard;
• White cardboard;
• Plain pencil, black felt-tip pen, ruler, glue stick, scissors.

Making a frame with a cover

Prepare two rectangular pieces of light green and dark green cardboard. You can use a whole sheet of A4 paper to make a pretty large postcard. Or a half of paper that will come out of a medium-sized card.

Cut an inch from each side of the light green cardboard. Or two centimeters on both sides at once. If the card is large, you can cut up to 2 cm on each side. As a result of these actions, the postcard will subsequently be complemented by an edging.

Fold the light green cardboard in half. Draw two parallel lines from the side of the fold, in the very center. Cut them up.

Fold up the cut area and press down.

Open the cardboard and redirect the cut piece to the middle. Close the card and press down so that all the folds fall into place and subsequently the card can be easily opened and closed.

Now we proceed to the application - displaying a football field with gates on a green background.

To do this, cut thin long strips of white cardboard.

In the first step, glue them around the edges of the card.

Then glue in the form of rectangles: larger and smaller. If desired, you can also glue a semicircle near them.

Glue the light green cardboard to the previously doubled dark green, and the folds should converge. The base with the cover of the card for dad is ready.

Making a soccer ball

The best way is to print the ball from a template. For example, this one.

Alternatively, you can redraw the ball or try to draw it.

• To do this, first you need to cut out a circle from white cardboard so that its size is slightly larger than the stand that we made in the first stage of creating the card. Well, in general, the ball should look harmonious on the created football field, be not very small, but not too large.
• Cut out a circle and draw a hexagon in its center.
• Draw similar shapes from three faces, only with five faces.
• After that, complete the pattern and round the lines a little.
• Color the lines and some of the pentahedrons black as in the photo.

The ball is ready.

Glue it on a stand, and you get such a cute card for dad who loves football.

2. We begin to sculpt the body of a football player from the form. We put a number on it in front and behind - everything is really.
3. Now we will take care of the shoes by fashioning sneakers and socks.
4. After that, it remains for us to collect the whole figure of the little man, adding his legs and arms.
5. Remember that the goalkeeper must have black gloves.

Ball.
Don't forget to mold the ball too. You can make it initially white, and then add black areas.

Field.
We will make the football field green by sticking the green cardboard onto another thick cardboard (you can use part of a box)

Putting the whole structure together.
Now you will need to install the football goal, securing them with plasticine. Set the little people in the most realistic poses to recreate the situation on the field during the game. It looks very interesting if the goalkeeper catches the ball while jumping, and the player, trying to score a goal, falls onto the field.

What to do with the finished structure?

Ordinary soccer balls are made of high quality natural leather or synthetic materials. A homemade ball will not be so strong, however, this is not required from a souvenir version. We offer to glue the original paper craft.

Taking advantage of the master class on making paper attribute, you will not be disappointed with the result. You will end up with an exact replica of a soccer ball. You can choose the size of your craft yourself - you just need to increase or decrease the size of the template.

Required materials for crafts

To make a paper ball, you will need the following:

• several thick sheets of white paper (cardboard will not work!);
• a couple of sheets of orange (blue or black);
• pVA glue;
• some cardboard (for making templates);
• scissors;
• ruler;
• simple pencil and eraser.

Step by step description of the work progress

1. Draw 2 shapes on the cardboard: a hexagon and a pentagon. In this case, the distance between the opposite corners of the hexagon should be 9 cm, and for the pentagon - 7.5 cm. Cut the templates along the contour.

1. After the templates are cut out, attach them to the paper and draw as many details as needed. Draw 20 hexagons on white paper and 12 pentagons on colored paper. After all the details are outlined, use the ruler to draw additional lines around each figure, departing from the main outlines a distance of 1 cm.
2. Next, cut out all the details with scissors (along the second contour) and make additional cuts in each corner.
3. Fold the edges inward.
4. After that, you can proceed directly to the assembly of the model. To make the ball round, you must adhere to the basic requirement: there must be 5 white hexagons around each colored pentagon. To get started, you can lay out the parts on a table (flat surface), and then start gluing them together.

1. Continue to peel off the white and colored pieces in the prescribed order.

1. After you glue the last piece, you get a real ball! When preparing templates of the indicated sizes, a paper souvenir is obtained even of an identical diameter with a real football attribute.

A simplified version of a soccer ball

A round ball can be made not only from a large number of paper blanks, but also from the cut out proposed scheme. Making a round craft in this way is even faster and easier. The only condition is the availability of copying equipment (printer).

Print the ball diagram on white paper on a printer:

You can choose both a scheme with already drawn black pentagons, and completely white. In place of the central parts, you can stick cut-out pentagons of any color you like.

It should be noted that the size of the finished craft directly depends on the size of the printed circuit. If you want to increase the size of the ball, then the printed material should be increased several times. And vice versa: for a small ball, a diagram on a regular A4 sheet will be enough.
