Knitting children's gloves with knitting needles with a description. Long knitted gloves, diagram with description. Palm and back of hand

Instructions

Determine the location of the remaining fingers. To do this, divide the total number of loops by 8. If it is not divided, distribute the remainder evenly between all fingers. From the number of loops for the ring finger, subtract two and give them to the index finger. If your thumb is on the second needle, then your little finger will be on the fourth and first. On the fourth knitting needle, knit half of the loops assigned to this finger with the main knitting stitch, and remove the rest unknitted onto a pin or additional thread. If the number of loops is odd, knit a smaller part of them. Using another pin, remove the stitches from the first knitting needle - half or one less. After this, we make 4 air loops on the fourth knitting needle and use it to knit the loops remaining on the first knitting needle. Thus, there are four knitting needles left - three are located, the fourth is the working one. Continue knitting in the round until the base index finger. The index finger is knitted first. It is on the first spoke. Knit the fingers on three, divide the number of loops by three, the “extra” can be added to any knitting needle. Knit half the stitches from the first needle, transfer the rest to a pin. Distribute the remaining stitches equally onto 2 knitting needles. Dial 4 air loops and knit another loop onto it from the next needle. Knit your finger in a circle to the middle of the nail and begin to decrease the loops, knitting two loops together at the end of each knitting needle with a “reverse” knit stitch. Decrease until there are two stitches left on each needle. Break the thread, thread it, remove the knitting needles and pull the needle and thread through the loops. Pull and pull the end of the thread to the wrong side. After the index, knit. The original number of loops is allocated to it, plus 8 loops from the jumpers. It is convenient to put another knitting needle into work. Knit in the same way as the index finger. For the ring finger, transfer the loops from a pin or on an additional thread to the knitting needles. You should get the original number of loops plus two more. Distribute them onto four knitting needles. Knit in the same way as the index and middle fingers. For the little finger, transfer the stitches set aside for it to the knitting needles and cast on 4 more loops from the jumper with the ring finger. Remove the set aside stitches from the pins. thumb loops, distribute them equally on two knitting needles, on the third - pick up from the upper edge of the hole the same number of loops as there were air loops, and knit in the same way as the rest of the fingers.

These gloves are easy to knit yourself; they are knitted from your fingers.

Description

Let's start with the fingers

For the average, index, ring finger and the little finger, cast on 6 loops, distributed over 3 knitting needles, close in a circle and knit 1 row facial loops.

Note. We knit the thumb a little later, see description below

In the next round, perform 1 from each loop adding on the wrong side = 12 loops.

Knit each successive circle until you reach the desired finger length.

T Now be sure to try the finger on your baby’s hand (he should dress loosely), maybe you need to increase the width of the finger from 12 loops to, for example, 14-16 loops

Here are the finger sizes for future gloves, which I knitted for my daughter in size 13cm

Each time an individual finger reaches the desired length, cut off the thread and put it aside for now.

We knit the little finger last and do not break the thread., and we collect our fingers, see below

!Moreover, I immediately sew up the resulting hole at the beginning of our finger with the end of the thread that remained when casting on the loops. This is much more convenient, because... The extra end doesn’t get in the way and we can measure our finger.

Now we distribute the loops of each finger onto the knitting needles so that we get two fingers on each pair of knitting needles, 4 knitting needles in total. We get the end/beginning of the row on the little finger.

Palm and backside palms

Now, we knit over all the existing loops in the following way (not as difficult as it might seem):
Using the first knitting needle, start at the little finger, knit the last 2 stitches together, then knit the first 2 stitches at the ring finger 2 loops together using the slip method .
In the same way, tie the loops of the middle finger on the second knitting needle. Then, at the index finger, knit the first 2 loops together transfer method .

Now we knit the second half of the finger loops:
Knit the index finger loops on the 3rd needle, while knitting the last 2 loops together. Then work the middle finger the same way as the first half of the ring and middle fingers.

!To put it even simpler, I’ll say this: knit a finger - at the end, the last 2 stitches are knitted together; then the first two loops of the next finger or two are thrown together. Further also to the end of the row!

Then we knit an elastic band of the length you need. I made a double one)))
Use the ends of the threads used to knit your fingers to cover the bridges of your fingers, and hide the ends of the thread.

The left glove is knitted in the same way, exactly the opposite.

Wash the gloves, dry them and steam them carefully so that the ends of the threads are firmly fixed and will not go anywhere.

In the cold season, it is necessary to protect your (or not really your) hands from frost. For those who are already familiar with purl and knit stitches and want to learn how to knit gloves for beginners, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with this master class. Men's gloves received as a result of successful completion will be a good gift for someone close to you.

These free-form gloves use the easiest way to knit the thumb. The same one is used when knitting mittens. This method is suitable for beginners, so if these are your first gloves, it is better to try it. It’s so convenient to knit men’s, children’s, sport gloves. Having mastered this simple product, you can then experiment with material and decor to get exclusive things every time.

How to knit gloves for beginners: description

Threads used for knitting were 150 m/100 g, 100% wool natural color and 5 knitting needles 1.5. To calculate the size of the product, you need to measure your wrist circumference. Then, as usual, knit the sample with a 1x1 elastic band, required quantity bring the loops to such a number that it is divisible by 4 without a remainder. I have men's gloves, so I cast on 56 stitches and distributed them onto 4 needles, 14 on each.

Let's start knitting an elastic band

After this, you need to tie the glove cuff with a 1x1 elastic band to the desired height. For me it was 20 rows. To knit gloves with knitting needles for beginners, you need to do everything in accordance with the diagram from the very beginning, so for the first time we strictly adhere to the order of casting.

We knit a cuff with a 1x1 elastic band

How to knit a thumb

Having finished the elastic, work should continue with stocking stitch to the height of the base of the thumb. For me it was 12 rows. Now the loops for knitting the thumb need to be separated. For the right hand, it is convenient to separate the loops located on the 4th knitting needle; then, when knitting the left glove, you will need to use the loops from the 1st knitting needle for the thumb. So, having knitted up to the 4th needle, I removed 9 loops from it with a pin. 14-9 = 5 loops, which means I have 2 loops left on the knitting needle at the beginning of knitting and 3 at the end. At the same time as removing the loops, I cast on a similar number on the knitting needle so that the total number does not change. It may not be entirely easy to knit gloves with knitting needles for beginners the first time, well, here you need to understand a little knitting arithmetic.

Slip 5 loops onto a pin

After this, knitting continues to the base of the remaining fingers. I have 22 more rows. Now you can tie your thumb. To do this, release 4 knitting needles by slipping the main stitches onto a knitting pin and the remaining 5th knitting needle.

We release the knitting needles by securing the loops with a pin

Attach the thread to the base of the thumb. We have 9 loops, and the same number at the top. 2 more loops are knitted from the sides, it turns out 9+9+2+2=22. These 22 loops are evenly distributed on 3 knitting needles, resulting in 8, 7 and 7, respectively. Then the finger is knitted to the height of the base of the nail (you need to try it on). After this, the loops begin to decrease at the beginning of each knitting needle until 1-2 loops remain on them, after which the knitting is closed.

Tied thumb

Now let's move on to knitting the remaining fingers. Beginning knitters should remember that the number of loops for each specific hand is selected individually, but for now, in order to knit gloves correctly, we stick to this number. On right hand We start with the index finger, 56 loops need to be divided into 4 fingers, but this is done unevenly (after all, all fingers are different). Separate 16 loops onto the index and cast on 2 more on the side, for a total of 18 loops. We distribute them evenly onto three knitting needles.

Let's start knitting the index finger

I try to talk in such detail about how to knit gloves with knitting needles so that it is easier for beginner knitters to master knitting fingers in a glove. So, then everything happens the same way as with thumb: Knit to the base of the nail, then bind off the stitches evenly at the beginning of each row. You should try on the glove often to find out how much length you need to knit. The middle finger will be 4-5 rows higher than the index finger. Unnamed - 1-2 rows lower. Accordingly, the little finger is the smallest. To knit the middle finger, 7 loops are separated on each side, plus 2 more are cast on the sides, for a total of 18 loops.

Let's start knitting middle finger gloves

We have 26 stitches left for knitting the ring and little fingers. Separate 7 on each side for the nameless stitch, picking up 2 more on the side. Here we also got 18 loops. There are only 12 loops left for the little finger, but it is the most thin finger, so for him it is enough to cast on 2 loops on the side to get 14 loops. Yes, to knit gloves you have to keep a calculator nearby... 😉

Next we knit the ring and little fingers

After all the fingers are finished, you need to remove the ends of the threads. The second glove is knitted in mirror image. In such gloves, your hand will be as warm as a beautiful and bright knitted mug.

Ready knitted gloves

Now you can and know how to knit men's gloves with knitting needles and maybe that's too much for some simple thing, but everyone started somewhere, so I hope this master class helped beginning knitters. Subscribe to our blog, it contains a lot of useful and interesting things. And how much more is yet to come...

Hi all!
I continue to promote knitting mittens in this way, because it is a comfortable finger, especially for children wearing socks, and it is convenient to knit.
This is the easy way. Having knitted a pair of three mittens in this way, you will be surprised that at first it seemed difficult.

These mittens are knitted from different sizes of yarn with the addition of mohair. They asked me to make a MK for this thickness. That's why they are "not very good".

I made a master class for children's mittens and for adults. It contains a table of calculations for any size from 20 stitches in the cast-on row to 60 stitches.
MK is paid. Detailed. Write and ask.

Start of the table. The entire table is in the master class.

What determines the number of loops? From the size of the brush, from the thickness of the yarn. From the number of spokes
What determines the height of the wedge (the width of the initial number of thumb loops)? From the width of the palm. My husband has a wide hand, but short, not musical fingers, which means... You will understand this when you start knitting.

How to calculate how many loops you need to cast on mittens? As usual. As you always knitted mittens, you already possess these skills. But I’ll remind you anyway. For medium yarn for medium female pen this is 44 loops. For men's it is 48 loops. For children, it depends on age, from 20 to 40.
So, you have decided on the yarn (I knit mittens from lan gold 800m/100g with the addition of fine mohair(it comes with the addition of acrylic or angora), about 500m/100g.)
We decided on the number of loops for the mittens. Look at the table and distribute the loops onto 4 knitting needles, mark the beginning of the circular row with a marker, this is the beginning of the 1st knitting needle, there may not be an equal number of loops on each knitting needle, but on the palm and back side it should be the same, mark with a marker and the middle of the circular row. As soon as you went beyond the marker, you moved to the back of the mitten.

The table will tell you how many loops on the palm you will knit for the finger, with how many loops you will start knitting the wedge, i.e. the future palm, how many loops the thumb will consist of, how many loops to cast on the jumper of the 2nd and 3rd knitting needles. This is the junction of the circular row after removing the finger loops onto an additional thread (connection of the 2nd and 3rd knitting needles).

Then knit as many rows with additions as there are in the original number of loops for the thumb. For example, if there are initially 10 thumb stitches (no jumper), this will be 10 rows. Thus, the same number of loops will be added to the wedge (palm) as there are rows.

After this, remove the finger loops with an additional thread and connect the loops remaining on the knitting needles into a circle.
Next, knit the mitten as usual, according to your length measurements.
Move to the finger. On the jumper, according to the table, cast on loops with a crochet hook without thread, from what you have so that there are no holes, do not go deep into the mitten, it should be beautiful and unnoticeable. Remove the loops from the thread onto the knitting needles. Knit a finger along your length.
