Family gives you energy. Good children grow up in happy families. And finally, people live longer in families (doctors came to this conclusion).

People have valued family at all times; many apt expressions, or in other words, Russian folk proverbs and sayings about family, have survived to our time. Now I will introduce you to them.

V.Working with proverbs:(slide 16 - 17)

Until the beginning of the twentieth century, the family consisted of more than one generation. There were grandfathers, grandmothers, mother, father, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. They lived together and helped each other. Some kept up with the housework, others worked in the fields, older brothers and sisters protected the younger ones. They lived cheerfully, respected old age, and protected the young. The families were large and strong. Fairy tales, stories, and poems have been written about the family. Many proverbs and sayings have been created.

When the family is together, the soul is in its place.
There is no need for treasure when there is harmony in the family.
There is safety in numbers.
Being a guest is good, but being at home is better.
Lead the house without shaking your beard.
A house without a mistress is an orphan.
It's warm in a friendly family even in the cold.
The family agrees that things are going great.

Now let's divide these proverbs and sayings into two groups: in the first we will collect all those that relate to a happy family, and in the second we will leave those that should not be in the family.

Group 1:

Away Fine, but home is better.
IN friendly family and warmth in the cold.

IN good good children are growing up in the family.
The whole family is together, and the soul is in place.
