The Scandinavian style, beloved by many, makes the interior simple and harmonious thanks to natural shades and materials. Unobtrusive and stylish flag decor is often used. If you like to do handicrafts, you can make a garland yourself. The use of handmade items in a Scandinavian interior is always encouraged.

You can make a garland of circles yourself - just cut out blanks from thick colored paper or cardboard. If you don’t have much time, you can buy a ready-made creativity kit in the store.

Letters can be made not only from fabric, but also from paper. Here are simple instructions on how to make them yourself.

We will need: sheets of cardboard, scissors, a stationery knife, tape, paper or fabric for decoration.

  1. Cut out two letter templates (photo 1, 2), rectangular strips from the same cardboard (photo 3, 4, 5).
  2. Glue the parts together (photo 6, 7, 8).
  3. Decorate to your taste.
  4. Ready.

You can also make a bright colored panel from paper. For it you will need flat cardboard candy boxes, scissors, colored paper, and glue.

Instructions:

  1. Think about how the frames will be positioned. Lay out your future composition.
  2. Measure and cut out the paper pieces that will be the background inside each frame. The length and width of the element should not exceed half the height of the walls of the box.
  3. Glue each background into the blank from the box.
  4. Glue the boxes together into a composition. Add a loop to hold the panel on the wall.
  5. Fill each frame to your liking.

Today we will make real jewelry from colored glass and baked plastic.
Age restrictions: Children from 6 years old.

So, we need:

1. Plastic such as cernit, fimo, sonnet, any color.
2. White paint, gouache or acrylic.
3. Brushes.
4. Old shadows.
5. Decorative glass for an aquarium (at a fixed price, a whole bag for ridiculous money).
6. Stacks, toothpicks.
7. Beads.
8. Glitter.

We're ready to start!

Take a glass pebble of any color. If you want a cleaner color, paint the back side with white acrylic paint or gouache.

Take the plastic, roll out the ball to the size of the glass and place the glass on it so that it sinks a little inside. I sculpted it on a flat pebble, so that I could bake it right away with the pebble, because if you sculpt it on a table, then when you tear it off, all the beauty will be ruined.

At the junction of the pebble and the plastic, place a small plastic ball and use a toothpick or an awl to make a hole in the middle, as in the picture. We got such a girth as from beads. Add other details to taste (lines, prints, thin sausages)

Now for the shadows, it’s better to choose those that are completely shiny. Apply shadows with a brush to create a metallic effect. We make a hole for hanging.

Now you need to place the product in the oven for 5-10 minutes at a temperature of 130 degrees, or in the microwave for 10 minutes in the “grill” mode (the microwave should then be washed).
When the oven has cooled down, you need to take out our pendant and wipe the glass from excess shadows.

Look at what other options you can do:

Owl pendant - add feathers, beak and jumper.
Pink pendant - I made impressions with the other end of the brush, I got such wide pits.

The drop pendant is light plastic, light shadows, the pattern is slightly different.
Eye pendant - before sculpting, draw a black pupil in the middle and the rest of the back surface with white.

The children did this three years ago (4 and 7 years old) with patterned sea pebbles. The shadows were perfect, the decorations came out completely silver, and after baking the stone was additionally coated with clear nail polish.

At the end, you can hang such a pendant on a string, beads, or ribbon. Use your imagination and you will have a whole amazing collection of jewelry!

If you want to keep your child occupied with something creative and useful, why not put together a simple and fun craft? Moreover, this can be done even from things that we usually throw in the trash, for example, egg cartons or rings from aluminum cans.

You can make bright flowers for a three-dimensional collage from egg cartons. Even kids can handle this!

To create a collage with flowers you will need:

  • canvas on stretcher (approx. 22×30 cm)
  • glitter or glitter paint
  • egg carton
  • bright colors
  • green pipe cleaners
  • ribbon and button
  • scissors
  • tassels
  • craft glue

Making a collage with flowers

Paint the canvas with any plain paint and let dry.

While the paint is drying, cut the cardboard packaging so that you get a flower from one cell. You can try to cut out the flower petals with scissors.

By the way, the remaining cells can be conveniently used as paint jars.

Cover cardboard flowers with several layers of paint and let dry.

If your kids like everything shiny, you can additionally coat the flowers with special glitter paint, although this is not necessary.

Pipe cleaners must be cut to the required length, tied beautifully with a ribbon and glued to the canvas.

Glue buttons inside each flower. It is not at all necessary that all buttons be the same.

We glue the flowers to the canvas.

Let the glue and paint dry well, and you can hang it on the wall!

Children's decoration made of aluminum rings

For a fun children's decoration, you can create unusual decorations from rings from aluminum cans. Most likely, the baby will accept such an offer with enthusiasm, because first he will have to drink several cans of soda. All you need is some paint and colorful decorative stones.

Materials and tools for making jewelry:

  • rings from aluminum cans
  • acrylic paint of a suitable color
  • packaging of multi-colored decorative stones (preferably larger ones)
  • clear nail polish
  • chain

How to make children's jewelry with your own hands

Try to carefully separate the rings from the cans. Remove the tab, which usually breaks off along with the ring. This way the rings will not only look neater, but will also not hurt your hands while working.

Paint the rings with acrylic paint of a suitable color. Hang the rings on a string or toothpick to let the paint dry. You may need to apply several coats of paint.

Note: You can entrust the painting procedure to your baby, the main thing is to choose safe paint.

Cover the painted rings with clear nail polish. You can choose a polish with glitter. This will set the paint and make the decoration shiny.

Glue large stones to the bottom of the rings. If the glue is not toxic and not too powerful, the child can be used at this stage.

Let the glue dry. Place several rings on the chain.

Earrings can be made in the same way.

Even if such jewelry does not replace gold with precious stones, a child may like them much more, because he made them with his own hands.
